We are currently looking for a Back-Office Titres profile, for a private bank based in Monaco .
DUTIES
The purpose of the role is to support the Investment operation team in Securities area providing high standards of service quality in the processing and control of a range of investments products offered on the Monaco platform.
The role holder will have a strong background in financial market transactions and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the following activities:
- Voluntary Corporate Actions processing
- Derivatives
- Portfolio Transfers
- Funds Processing
- Custodian and Broker relationships
- Off shore support and trainings
In addition, the role holder will have to support the Head of Investment Operation to develop and implement new investment products to help the Front office in the increase of products range improving client experience and allowing continuous growth of the Monaco platform. This will include creation and adjustment of procedures for critical activities.
For each of the above the role holder will be expected to build relationships with the local teams and interact effectively and professionally with the Front Office and all key stakeholders.
The role holder will also have to interact with Bank's Shared Services for outsourced activities ensuring smooth and relevant handling in line with internal agreement and responsibilities distribution. In addition the role holder will need to adhere and ensure for aligning processes and controls across the onshore and offshore platforms supporting the International Private Bank.
Finally the role holder will also have to participate and support change initiatives in focus to become a strong delegate to the head of the department but also a partner of the Front Office and Business Management including putting in place specific sessions to streamline, improve processes and ad-hoc daily controls fully complying with the Risk framework.
PROFILE
The successful candidate will be fluent in English and will have experience of working in a similar role. He will also need to be able to work as part of a team but be self-motivating to complete tasks individually. A positive outlook combined with strong professionalism will be key as will an eye for detail and an ability to think outside of the box. The ability to drive process improvements and apply LEAN principles will also be a positive addition to any skill set.
