We are currently looking for a Regional Project Manager, for a private bank based in Monaco.
DUTIES
The role holder is a senior individual expected to provide support to the Head of Business Delivery & Control - EMEA to deliver low technology / high business-impact change, ensuring it is fit for purpose and successfully transitioned into the business.
The role holder will deliver robust change portfolio management and governance of projects for the Private Bank EMEA business, as well as owning and managing delivery of business critical change within agreed time, cost, quality and scope.
The role is pivotal to ensure that any centrally-run change programmes or changes are delivered into the PB EMEA business areas correctly and without any adverse impacts.
Change Leadership
•Work with stakeholders to identify business change priorities and Strategic Investment opportunities, monitor progress against these objectives and work with the senior leadership team to maintain focus and facilitate implementation.
•Responsible for defining and driving the business delivery portfolio for Private Bank EMEA.
•Work closely with the senior leadership team in the business to shape and prioritise demand.
•Champion the development of the change capability across the business units to continuously enhance business efficiency and quality of change
Change Delivery
•Take full accountability for the delivery of projects within his/her portfolio. Work with project managers to ensure that the projects/programmes produce:
othe agreed deliverables to the required standard of quality
odesired outcomes within the specified constraints of time and cost; monitoring the expenditure and costs as the initiative progresses
oaccurate and relevant status reporting across their portfolio of change and providing accurate forecasting of delivery and consistently maintain accurate status information and reporting of risks and issues.
•Responsible for any allocated aspect of the end to end project lifecycle e.g. delivery of business critical or remediation activity or ensuring the initiative is accepted.
Portfolio Management & Governance
•Responsible for ensuring all new project/programme delivery across the team is executed in accordance with the bank change governance processes, Treating Customers Fairly and risk and regulatory standards.
•Manage demand prioritisation and pipeline change to ensure that the right resources are lined up for delivery, identifying synergies and opportunities for alignment of initiatives within the portfolio to maximise speed and maintain the efficient use of resources.
•Lead and run change governance forums so that the appropriate status reporting, escalation and decision making occurs.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
•Lead and develop Business Change and project colleagues, ensuring all understand what is expected of them and how they are performing, have the appropriate resources, skills and knowledge needed to be effective, efficient and compliant. This is a virtual team i.e. team members from other functions for whom he/she has no direct line management responsibility or contractors reporting directly into the role holder.
•Strong planning and organisation skills and the ability to build strong relationships, communicate and influence at a senior level across the business stakeholders
PROFILE
•Familiarity with experience of a Wealth environment, Banking and Credit will be an advantage.
•Relevant professional project management qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience
•Track record of delivery / implementation in a number of significant, large and high profile strategic initiatives
•Ability to formulate project plans and execute against these plans
•Detailed understanding and practical application of Project and Change Management methods and disciplines
•High degree of organisational awareness
•Able to mobilise highly effective virtual teams to deliver against common goals
•Able to effectively engage with Accountable Executives and other stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
•Successful team recruitment, management and development
