True partner of proximity, our team of specialists brings to its candidates its expertise, its network and its time. We are currently looking for a KYC Officer, for a private bank based in Monaco.
DUTIES
Supports The main purpose of the role is to facilitate Client Onboarding and Account Opening. This will involve reviewing documentation, Client Due Diligence (CDD) and KYC and being able to engage with stakeholders to ensure this is correct against policies. In tandem, this role will include managing bespoke KYC systems whilst supporting key data programmes.
- Operations Assurance & Control
Take ownership of Onboarding and Account Opening and assist with maintenance and closing ensuring that the team are supported and all work is conducted within deadlines and colleagues are supported in times of spikes in volume. The role will involve reviewing CDD and KYC and making informed decisions based on the local and group policies.
- Risk, Governance & Control Management
To review client CDD and KYC to a high standard, correctly enter client details and ensure opening of accounts is conducted in adherence with policy and procedures. The role holder must be able to follow and adhere to group and local policies and procedures.
- Client Experience
Dealing with all telephone and email queries from our internal stakeholders in respect of any Onboarding, Account Opening, Maintenance or Closing aspects in a prompt and appropriate manner.
- Data Management
Gathering accurate information in order to open accounts. Obtaining KYC information when dealing with clients ensuring our systems are updated and engaging with front office stakeholders to collate the most correct and appropriate data.
PROFILE
The role holder will have the ability to work under pressure focusing on attention to detail in order to make sound and accurate decisions. Ideally they will have at least 3 years experience within a KYC/CDD or Onboarding role along with good time management and organisational skills. The role holder will also be required to display sound analytical skills to be able to research problems and identify root causes as well as possessing excellent numerical skills. A broad understanding and knowledge of Sanctions & PEP’s as well as KYC Policy and procedures, International Banking Compliance principles, processes and techniques and their practical application would be helpful but not a requirement.
