We are currently looking for a Regulatory Reporting and Financial Control, for a major investment bank based in Paris.
DUTIES
Local regulatory reporting for France 60%
-Working with the Head of Regulatory reporting, delivery of the local regulatory reporting requirements to the ACPR, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
-Working on the SOPRA reporting tool for delivery, ensuring that problems are resolved, by investigating the causes of issues as they arise.
-Working with local Financial Control to understand variances in monthly returns, in anticipation of queries from the ACPR.
-Working with the Head of Finance and Head of Regulatory Reporting on query responses to the ACPR.
-Keep abreast of local regulatory reporting changes, and working with local IT and other stakeholders to incorporate into BaU reporting.
-Engage with internal stakeholders (e.g.FinCrime) on their regulatory reporting requirements
Financial Control 30%
-Support the month-end and year-end close, for onward Group reporting (e.g balance sheet control and reconciliations, preparation of additional disclosures).
-Support the local Financial Control lead on transfer pricing issue resolution, dealing with relevant Finance stakeholders.
-Support costs management and annual budget process, support Audit process
Projects & Backup activities 10%
PROFILE
You will be of graduate calibre and you will have 5 years experience in finance area (reporting functions/financial controller) in banking. Regulatory reporting experience, specific local French regulatory reporting (SURFI). English & French fluent (speaking, writing).
